Kem-En-Tec Diagnostics offers a series of Liquid TMB Substrates (3,3´, 5, 5´- tetramethyl-benzidine) for ELISA with a stability lifetime of up to 4 years. Our TMB solutions provide ready-to-use, chromogenic substrates that yield a blue color whose absorbance is read at 620-655 nm. The reaction can be stopped with sulfuric acid resulting in a yellow color with an absorbance read at 450 nm and a 2-3 fold increase in sensitivity compared to the non-stopped absorbance reading. The stop-solutions recommended for each product guarantee an extended stop stability of the measured absorbance, with an OD decreases after 1 hour lower than 8%.
